An easy vegan dip recipe seasoned with Moroccan spices that are as beautiful as it is delicious. Pairs perfectly with fresh pita bread or pita chips.

One of the things that it seems like it’s hard to do when you’re on Weight Watchers (or any diet) is to go to parties. There is usually a lot of food but much of it is laden with fat and calories that you don’t need and won’t eat.

With the holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get your repertoire of recipes in shape to bring the tastiest and healthiest treats to parties. And trust me, one of those recipes you’re going to want to make is this delicious Moroccan Carrot Dip.

From my experience, sushi is one of those polarizing foods. You either love it, or you aren’t a fan of it. I’m one of those people who love it. It can be a great snack or a whole meal, especially paired with some stir fried vegetables.

Unfortunately, unless you’re good at it and have a whole setup, making rolled sushi is very time consuming.

Enter this delicious, nutritious and simple Asian Salmon Rice Bowl. It’s a combination of sushi and the extremely popular “Buddha Bowls”.

Is there anything better than garlic butter? OK, so I can think of a few things (like chocolate), but when it comes to the savory, garlic butter is about as good as it gets. I am willing to eat just about anything with garlic butter involved.

Since I love garlic butter, I thought I’d season my roasted carrots with garlic butter. And let me tell you, they turned out to be so much more amazing than I thought they were going to be. I mean, I thought they’d be good, but these are fantastic. They’re so good that my kids were literally FIGHTING OVER CARROTS. They couldn’t get enough, and neither could I. I promised that the next time I made these that’s I’d double the recipe.

Fall is officially here! And you all know what that means…Weight Watchers Pumpkin Recipes galore! Today is no exception. I’m sharing one of my favorite easy fall recipes that is perfect for feeding a family or large group.

While the most popular flavor is probably pumpkin spice, there is so much that you can do with pumpkin. My Pumpkin Chicken Chili is sure to get you into the fall mood.

Lettuce wraps are a great way to enjoy delicious wraps and sandwiches without the calories and carbs of a flour wrap or bread. Unfortunately, you’ll also end up looking kind of like a kid with their first cake. I mean, is there any way to eat them without ending up with the juice EVERYWHERE?

Those adorable little Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps are appetizers, so you’re supposed to just pick them up and pop them in your mouth. But, without fail, I always end up with juice dripping down my chin and all over my hands. Not so ladylike.

However, I recently decided to fix that problem – by making it into a full meal that’s got the same fresh, delicious and wonderful flavors but without the mess while you’re digging in. I made the Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps into a salad bowl. And let me tell you – it’s amazing.

The holidays are coming up faster than I can believe. It might only be September, but before we know it, it’ll be Thanksgiving and then Christmas! With the holidays coming up so soon, I thought I’d share one of my all-time favorite holiday salad recipes.

This Pomegranate, Apple, and Date Salad is one that I’ve made more times than I can count. It’s perfect for the holidays – beautiful, tasty, and very easy. It’s a perfect complement to many meals.

Me, I love to have this salad during Rosh Hashanah, because it’s full of the symbolic foods of the holiday. Rosh Hashanah is celebrated in the fall each year and there are always delicious and traditional foods. Many of the dishes include symbolic foods – apples (particularly apples dipped in honey), dates, pomegranates, black-eyed peas, leek, spinach, and gourds.

Right now, I’m making our Rosh Hashanah dinner. It’s a Jewish New Year that occurs every fall, usually in September or October. Traditionally, there is a large dinner with all your family and you spend most of the day cooking dinner. Since I don’t usually like to spend all day in the kitchen cooking dinner, and I’m all about the quick and easy meals, I found a way to whip up a delicious Rosh Hashanah recipe, with minimal effort.

Quick and easy meals is where this Roasted Honey Soy-Glazed Chicken recipe comes into its own. It is incredibly easy, with just a handful of ingredients, but it is more than just a simple mouthful of flavors! It’s a little sweet, a little salty and a little smoky…it really doesn’t get better than this. Well, except that it’s that good and I don’t spend all day cooking it!

Everyone has the meals that they remember having a lot when they grew up. Maybe it’s pancakes for breakfast every Saturday morning.

For me, it was Sloppy Joe’s. They were a regular staple in our house. It was easy and relatively inexpensive, so we had them a LOT. I sometimes still make them for my kids, and they love them too. And I still enjoy one every now and then.

However, I recently decided to try out a new idea I’ve seen a few times. You combine a Philly Cheesesteak and a Sloppy Joe. It’s an amazing idea and I’m totally surprised it’s not a huge trend yet. Believe me, it should be. The result was delicious and a widely successful new recipe in our house.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and then moved to Southern California, which is where I live now. One of the best things that I’ve discovered since moving to Los Angeles is the incredible food!

Once I moved here, I learned about a whole new world of foods and flavors that I never knew existed. I can honestly say, I’ve never been happier.

I’ve got plenty of favorite flavors and recipes (who doesn’t?), but Middle Eastern foods are ones that I almost always just fall in love with.

Recently, I got to eat at a Turkish restaurant and I had an incredible salad that I just had to try to make once I got home. It’s the super simple, but incredible flavorful and delicious Chickpea and Sumac Salad.

You know me, I tend to be annoyed by the super trendy things and really avoid jumping on the food trend bandwagon. There are a couple of exceptions to that – if it happens to be seriously amazing (have you tried the new Instant Pot?), or if I’ve already been enjoying it for a long time.

This one falls into the second category. I have been eating and thoroughly enjoying avocado toast for a long time – way before it was a trendy food thing.

It can be hard to convince my family, especially the kids, that low carb recipes are still tasty. Usually, it’s easier if they don’t know that it’s low carb and super healthy before they try it. They’re more likely to eat it that way. And this one is definitely a low carb Weight Watchers recipe that is amazingly good – and a big hit with my family.

I recently had a few extra zucchini that I wanted to use up before they went bad, so I put together this Mexican Beef and Zucchini Skillet. It turned out to be a quick, easy and healthy dinner that was incredibly delicious.

Have you noticed the waffled food trend that’s been happening on Instagram recently? Apparently, it’s easy and quick to cool a whole variety of foods in a waffle iron, not just batter. I thought that was a great idea. I wanted to give it a try with some of the foods that aren’t very healthy due to the fact they’re fried in oil. The first one that I really wanted to try was crab cakes.

Traditional crab cakes aren’t all that healthy for you. They’re loaded with crab, cracker crumbs, mayonnaise and eggs and then deep fried in oil. Delicious, yes, but not a great combination for watching your daily point totals.

One of my kids’ favorite meals is the “yellow chicken on a stick”, which most people know to be Thai Chicken Satay. And I can’t blame them for liking it. It’s got tender, juicy chicken that’s marinated in a truly divine peanut sauce and then it’s grilled to perfection and served with extra sauce for dipping. What’s not to love?

However, the easiest way to get Thai Chicken Satay is to go out to eat. However, as great as it is to not have to cook or do the dishes, going out to eat has two major downsides – it gets expensive and it leads to eating other delicious, but usually high calorie foods that I don’t need (Mango Sticky Rice, anyone?). So, I like to try and make my family’s favorite meals at home and to give them a lighter, healthier twist.

Tuna salad sandwiches is one of those classic lunches. It’s something that just about everyone remembers having as a kid. It’s something that’s still a classic for long hikes and picnic lunches. But as an everyday lunch – it’s not my favorite. The traditional tuna salad recipe is loaded with mayo, therefore pretty high in fat and calories and very low in fiber and vegetables.

I decided to switch up the classic tuna salad and make a lighter, and healthier, version for lunch. I turned to the Mediterranean region for inspiration. The Mediterranean diet contains a lot of fish, so it seems like a natural fit. Then, I thought I’d add some more classic Mediterranean flavors – fresh veggies, garbanzo beans, and olives.

French Onion is one of my all time favorite soups. I love the delicious and rich flavor of it. And even though it’s been in the high 80’s this week, it’s been one of those weeks where I’ve needed some comfort food. But while I was enjoying a bowl of my favorite soup, I got the idea to make a casserole using the same flavors.

While I wanted the casserole to have the same flavors as the soup, I wanted to add some protein to it as well. I also wanted it to be kid-friendly. Making and cleaning up two meals because the kids won’t eat one is not something I’m inclined to do. It makes life much, much easier when the whole family eats the same thing.

There are always those vegetables that fill you with trepidation. They’re the ones that if they’re cooked right are delicious and amazing, but if not, well, there’s always the garbage can. Cabbage is one of those vegetables. It’s usually overcooked, bland, and doesn’t win any prizes for its looks either.

Don’t get me wrong, cabbage can be good. When you fry it up with onions and apples in bacon grease, it’s pretty good. Not healthy, but good. Well, luckily for you, I’ve got a cabbage recipe that is both good and healthy. This Garlic Roasted Cabbage Wedges recipe is amazing.

There are always those dishes that are just perfect for a summer meal. They’re the ones that have the in-season produce and the bright and fresh flavors that just pop in your mouth.

This Roasted Lime Salmon with Mango Salsa is the ultimate summer dish. It’s got fresh, irresistible flavors that come together perfectly to complement each other and make you savor each bite. The smoky salmon with the sweet and tangy salsa is just amazing.

It’s so easy to look at the delicious recipes on blogs and Pinterest and then get discouraged when you try to find the ingredients for the recipes. All too often it seems like the ingredients for the elegant dishes are too hard to find or too expensive – or both!

But don’t despair – this Sole Piccata is perfect for cooking dinner on a budget. Sole is a white fish with a mild flavor and it’s relatively inexpensive and easy to find. It works well in a variety of dishes, including this delicious and elegant Sole Piccata.

Every family has those snacks that the whole family loves and will gobble down in no time. One of those snacks for our family is chips and salsa. Everybody loves it. And we eat it. A LOT.

Typically, when I’m busy, I use store bought salsa. However, everyone’s favorite is when I’ve got enough time to make some amazing, fresh salsa. There is nothing like it.

It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to vegetables. You’re in a hurry, and you need to add vegetables to your meal, so you throw together your old standbys.

Maybe it’s steamed veggies, fresh veggies with ranch, or a salad. It’s something that you end up having repeatedly.

Even when you rotate them, so you don’t have the same thing every day, always having steamed vegetables gets old.
Every once in and while it’s good to have a new veggie recipe to add to the rotation. And this one hits it home – traditional Asian seasonings on fresh broccoli that’s roasted to perfection. It doesn’t get better than this.

I am someone who absolutely loves Chinese stir fry. I just can’t get enough of it. I love it in any form, but the downside of the restaurant versions is that they are typically high in points. As a result, I’m always trying my hand at healthy knock-offs of my favorite Chinese fast food dishes.

One of my best and easiest attempts at delicious knock-off results in something so incredible and ridiculously good that I just had to share it with you. It would have been cruel to deprive you of this amazing Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry.

Chicken is something that I frequently turn to in my recipes. It’s simple and mild, so it’s easy to dress it up and not have the flavor of the meat overwhelm the entire dish. That’s not even counting that chicken will usually come on sale and chicken breast is a great way to keep the points low in recipes.

The trouble with chicken is that, like veggies or anything else, it’s easy to get stuck in a rut. But I have an amazing, simple, easy, and delicious way to dress up your chicken breasts! Enter this Chicken Pesto Bake recipe. The chicken is topped with a flavorful pesto sauce, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. It’s amazing.

Who has always had to eat fajitas in a tortilla? I know, those carbs are delicious. But take my word for it – having your fajita straight out of the skillet is a HIGHLY underestimated option that you should no longer ignore.

The wonderful and bold flavors of the chicken and vegetables can come alive instead of being overwhelmed by the doughy flavor of a tortilla.

Really, the flavor that you will want to taste in this amazing Chicken Fajita Skillet is the chicken and the veggies. The chicken is marinated in lime juice and spices – including cumin and chili powder.
